Shirebrook Angling Club is a fishing club that was founded in October 2004.

The club is open to all age groups and everyone is welcome. The club fishes residentially at Shirebrook Town Pond and offers trips to different fishing venues once or twice a month.

During the winter seasons they offer pike fishing and indoor sessions at Langwith Hall

The club has got 3 qualified Angling Coaches that can teach you everything from the basics all the way up to being an angling pro.

The club has a constitution and operates an equal opportunities policy, to ensure that every member gets treated equally and can have fun and learn all the tips and tricks of angling.

The club as its own insurance policy and child protection officers, to ensure that every member is safe and accidents are kept minimal.

In 2006 the club started to hold fishing matches for members. These matches are fun and help many members improve on their angling skills.
